three categories: continuing education for teachers, resource
development for educators, and curriculum development.
Most schools in India have one teacher who has received only 15 days of training. WCS partner schools in India and other Asian countries - such as China and Myanmar - attract students from varying backgrounds by providing a higher quality of education than is available in other schools.
Continuing Education for Teachers is one way WCS invests in a higher quality of education for our partner schools, by hosting annual conferences and providing resources year-round to teachers.
Educator Resources: Teachers are the driving force behind our vision to ensure that all children have access to quality education. You can help develop resources designed for hard-working educators who are making the greatest impact on students in WCS partner schools around the world!
Curriculum Development: WCS wants to find ways to reach
communities more effectively by developing culturally-appropriate teaching tools for use in the developing world.
